Oven Barbecued Chicken

Ingredients

1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup olive oil
4 chicken thighs
2 cup celery stalks, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 tsp granulated garlic
1 cup catsup
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 cup water

Directions

Mix flour and salt together in a bowl. Add chicken and coat thoroughly. Heat oil in electric skillet. Add coated chicken pieces and brown on all sides. Remove chicken and arrange in shallow medium sized casserole dish.

Saute celery, onions, and garlic in remaining oil in electric skillet over medium heat until onion is clear and celery is still a little crispy.

Add catsup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and water. Stir to mix together. Bring to a boil. Pour over chicken in casserole dish. Cover dish.

Bake 45 minutes at 350° F. Serve with rice, ladle sauce over rice.
