Black & White Cookies
Ingredients
2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup butter, softened
2 cup brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 cup flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Directions
Melt chocolate chips and butter together.
Mix in sugar and let cool. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Mix in vanilla, baking powder, and salt. Add flour and mix well.
Chill dough for at least 4 hours.
Preheat oven to 350° F, rack in middle position.
Roll walnut-sized dough balls with your hands. Drop the dough balls into a bowl with the powdered sugar and roll them around until they are coated. (If the dough gets to warm, stick it back in the refrigerator until you can handle it again.)
Place the balls on a greased cookie sheet, 12 to a standard sheet. Bake at 350° F for 12-14 minutes. Let cool on cookie sheet for approximately 2 minutes, then remove to wire rack for complete cooling.
